Ducati Hypermotard 1100S Spesial Black Edition

00 thumb Black Devil Ducati Hypermotard SpecialMarco Crescenzi is just like you and me. He got his Ducati Hypermotard 1100S and immediately wanted to personalize it to make it a unique expression of his Ducati passion. He just went a little further than bolting on an aftermarket exhaust. He created this, the Black Devil. It looks the same but sounds even better in Italian.
Il Diavolo Nero is the Black Devil (before you ask Diavel is not the Italian word for Devil. Diavel seems to be an anglo friendly version of the Bolognese word for devil which is Dièvel). It is based on a Ducati Hypermotard 1100S and as Marco explains, his vision was to keep the essence of badness to the fore in his work.
“Owning a model of bike that is already particularly extreme, with strong, sharp lines, I tried to bring out the form, making it more extreme, while seeking to maintain and remain faithful to the original Ducati concept: a unique motorcycle that is passionate, slender and elegant, but mostly bad.”

The LED lights incorporating the turn signals remove clutter as does the relocation of the exhaust from underseat to a custom side exit setup. The Ixil Exhaust, designed for a Honda CB1000R was mated to a Ducati Performance collector. Naturally a Ducati Performance ECU remapped for the open air filter added to the performance and the sound.

He lowered the headlight and cowling to get it in a single line with the side panels. The graphics are plain and simple but act to highlight that this is one badass motorcycle.

Marco has done great work but it hasn’t been alone. This creation is also thanks to the work of Loriano Motors, Tecno Car and Time Out Studio.

He wanted it to be “mostly bad” and we think he succeeded.
