Mini Cooper 2012 Convertibel

Mini Coopers have come to be known as the mini powerhouse and the 2012 Mini Cooper is, by no means, an exception to this rule.  Packed into this pint sized sports coupe is a veritable powerhouse of an engine.  Mini fans will be delighted to find that the standard 2012 Cooper engine is a monstrously supercharged 1.6 liter transverse 4 cylinder engine.  While others may choose to go with an 8 cylinder engine, the 2012 Mini Cooper is all about getting the most out of it’s small size.  This is why the standard engine comes with a whopping 115 horsepower that turns at 6,000 revolutions per minute with 110 pounds of torque per foot at 4,500 rpm.

For the 2012 Cooper fans that are looking for a bit of an upgrade, Cooper is offering the Mini S.  Under the hood of the 2012 Mini Cooper S is an expertly engineered 4 cylinder transverse supercharged engine. While this seems similar to the standard model, the Cooper 2012 S model delivers a blistering 163 horsepower at 6,000 rpm.  The S model doesn’t stop there as it delivers 155 pounds of torque per foot at 4,000 rpm.  Looking at these specs, it’s quite easy to see why the Mini Cooper has had no problem making a name for itself and standing out from the crowd of boring, oversized automobiles.
All of this adds up to a small car that knows how to burn to rubber!  The supercharged engines that have been engineered into the new 2012 Cooper line offer a blinding top speed.  When running flat out, the 2012 Mini Cooper has a top speed of 124 miles per hour.  Not only does the new Cooper go faster than some of its competitors but it gets there faster as well.  The 2012 Cooper blasts from zero to sixty in only nine seconds!  No one would have expected such force from such a small package and this is what makes the Cooper brand so incredibly desirable.
The 2012 Mini Cooper standard run flat tires are only the beginning of the safety considerations that Cooper has added to their new line.  As if the power packed into this little car wasn’t enough, Cooper has added a whole range of both active and passive safety features.  On the active side, the 2012 Cooper comes with anti-lock brakes on all four wheels to guarantee that it will stop when you need it to.  While steering such a powerful car might have been a problem in the past, the new Coopers come with an electro-hydraulic power assisted steering system that will have it maneuvering as if it were a part of you.  On the passive side of things we see a high tech new crash sensor system which can activate all six standard airbags.  All of these new innovations have earned the 2012 Mini Cooper a four star rating with the Transportation and Safety Administration and even a “Best Pick” award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
The Mini Cooper name has become synonymous with power and style packed into the most compact package around.  With it’s supercharged engine, blistering top speeds and amazing acceleration, the 2012 Mini Coopercan definitely hold it’s own against much larger sports cars.  The standard run flat tires, crash monitoring system, six air bags and advanced crumple zones ensure that the new 2012 Cooper is one of the safest rides on the road today.  Somehow, Cooper has managed to take all of this and wrap it one of the most attractive exteriors around and coupled it with one of the most luxurious interiors you can find in a sports coupe.  The 2012 Mini Cooper is set to stay an industry leader for the next round of sports cars.
