RC213V is an evolution of a RC212V version based on the same concept. In fact, Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa will have the same machine. Design patterns are used Repsol Honda this year looks similar to the one they wore last year. Differences will be seen is to wear the number one bike by the latest MotoGP world champion, Casey Stoner.

Engine:

The bike uses a 1000 cc engine which can produce a massive 228 hp and the bike can reach a top speed of 360 km/h.The bike has the same V-4 four-stroke configuration seen in its predecessor the RC212V.The engine is liquid cooled.Each cylinder has a maximum of four valves and are made from titanium.The valves are controlled by Double Over Head Cam shafts (DOHC).The connecting rod which connects the crankshaft with the pistons is made from titanium.The engine cover and the exhausts are made up of titanium.The fuel tank capacity is 21 litres.

Design:

The RC213V has no radical change in the design of the bike only minor cosmetic upgrades and the body is made from carbon fibre to reduce weight.The silencer design of one silencer on the right hand side and an under seat silencer ha made its way onto the RC213V from its predecessor RC212V.The alloy wheels are in orange color.The bike weighs over over 157 kgs according to 2012 Moto GP Rules and Regulations.

Chassis and Suspension:

The Aluminium twin tube suspension offers the rider with greater stability and feedback at the corner in and exit.The chassis combined with the Pro-link suspension at the rear coupled with a Telescopic front suspension have a great deal in inspiring the riders on this machines.The suspension system is supplied by Ohlins for this bike.
