No radical rethinking has not happened – most of the changes are not visible, because they relate to inner parts motorcycle, and invisible change is also not particularly significant.
For example, the bike in 2012 improved throttle response, increased the degree of fuel efficiency and more enhanced acceleration. Including through a new exhaust system with a single, not double ending.
Reduced weight, especially the back of the bike, improve manageability.
Inside the motor new pistons, which is 11% lighter, the engine also, accordingly, has become easier, as losses were reduced by injection. Slightly changed the compression ratio – 12.9 instead of 12.8 was. That’s all change in the engine. All that is possible – to increase capacity at medium speed.
Changed brakes – set Brembo Monobloc, also put more subtle brake discs, shortened plug, put a lighter front tire, saddle used a different material – skin with good traction.
Due to all the manipulations the total weight of the bike down by 2 kg. With the exception of the silencer, stylistic changes limited red stripes on the wheels, a black border forks and a new GSX-R-Graphics, which has more blue on the body.
The line will have two basic color for this bike – blue and black. The official presentation will take place at the EICMA-2011 in Milan in early November.
