Car tuner from Los Angeles, has unveiled its GTM Aerodynamic Package for the Porsche 997 Turbo.
At the front, the tuner Design Porsche 997 Turbo is fitted with GTM front bumper with air ducts to channel extra air into the radiators to increase cooling and air vent at the top near of the hood to release high pressure air from the front bumper to reduce drag and to increase downforce. The car is also fitted with carbon fiber lower lip to redirect air from going underneath the car to reduce drag and lift.
The rear meanwhile features full bumper replacement which consists of 3 carbon fiber gill that hep to suck air through the intercoolers and out the back, new ducting from the intercoolers and full carbon fiber rear diffuser.
New GTM hood made of either FRP ((Fiber Reinforced Plastic) or Full carbon fiber is also available for the 997 Turbo. The hood features two grooves on either side to help channel the air over the hood uniformly. The hood also comes with 2 optional carbon fiber vanes.
Also available with the GTM aerodynamic package are new side skirts and a new add- on blade. The skirts are designed to channel air flowing along the side of the car, to go around the wheel instead of flowing directly into it. The add-on blade is a spoiler blade that replaces the stock spoiler and it is available in FRP (fiber reinforced plastic) or carbon fiber.
