Awesome Custom Supermoto by Jesse Rooke

Custom Supermoto by Jesse Rooke
Jesse Rooke's Slotard
Custom builder Jesse Rooke is on to something here. The Slotard is a new super motard style custom and from the photos it doesn't appear to be quite finished, not really sure. But look closely and see what he's done.

The most notable piece is the engine which appears to be a V-twin with the rear cylinder removed and a supercharger(?) in its place or is that just the transmission up there by itself? You'll recall the supercharger arrangement used by Roger Goldammer in Trouble. Interesting arrangement in any case. There is an underslung shock and a short exhaust under the engine. Upside down fork, single disc up front with six piston caliper and single disc/sprocket in the rear.

Custom Supermoto BMW HP2 Megamoto

custom Supermoto BMW HP2 Megamoto
superbike 1 7071

custom Supermoto BMW HP2 Megamoto,There is something special about human nature that is both impressive and at the same time pretty dangerous and over-the-top to say the least. BMW already had a wonderful bike already in the form of the Supermoto BMW HP2. But they were not content to have an already good bike and so passed it on to the Italian stables of MDM. Now we know that the Italians have a grand way of doing things and blowing it out of proportions. So that is exactly what they have done with Supermoto.

Italian makers MDM opted instead for an overpowered flat bike that really looks impressive in orange. Basically a Megamoto with shorter suspension, even fancier and bizarre bodywork, has a look that is sure to make plenty of takers when it comes to the motorheads. The large factory street tracker is designed and revamped in a unique and very spectacular fashion to make sure that it is nothing too similar to the world version.

The bike looks like a big boy on the street and the rear looks all the more unique. I still do not understand why something that is pretty good has to be worked on to give this studio kind of looks. The bike is perfectly good both in the old and the new version. I suppose MDM has done its best to alter Supermoto and one surely hopes it is a big hit.

Custom Supermoto Yamaha WR450F Ben Spies

The bike features a host of genuine Yamaha GYTR accessories and a host of other high performance motorcycle accessories was unveiled at the Long Beach California Motorcycle Show (IMS).
"Ben is a tremendous talent and this is proven by his MotoGP Rookie of the Year award," said Roland Sands, "and we feel this design best fits his determined riding style and drive."

"Ben joined the Yamaha family just two years ago and immediately won the First World Superbike Championship for our company," said Bob Starr, Yamaha National Communications.
"This special WR450F we are presenting to him today is a small token of our appreciation for what he has accomplished in such a short time."

The stock 2011 Yamaha WR450F has a YZ-bred aluminum frame-carefully engineered from castings, forgings and extrusions-enhances handling while retaining legendary Yamaha feel and characteristics.
The Yamaha 449cc liquid-cooled DOHC four-stroke with five titanium valves delivers more broad power than ever, with high over-rev capacity and crisp, linear throttle response.

The off-road motorcycle starts with the push of a button and has a cool digital enduro computer that offers speedometer, clock, tripmeter and more in basic mode-or in race mode the pace management functions such as timer, distance-compensating tripmeter, average speed and more kick-in.

New 2012 Suzuki DL1000 V-Strom

Suzuki DL1000 could resume service in 2012! The category with the wind in its sails, the Japanese automaker is about to reintroduce his big trail in its range. But beware: according to our information, more than a revolution, the big V-Strom should follow in the footsteps of the new DL650…

Four years after his death the catalog Suzuki DL1000 V-Strom is expected to return for 2012. According to our information, the main road trail would take effect in the service, but a real overhaul of the model, expect more of a “restyling”, as they say in the jargon. According to our “insiders”, the new Suzuki DL1000 V-Strom 2012 should indeed adopt the look of the Suzuki DL650 2011/2012, we recently tested.
Besides its new plastic and finish revised upwards, we imagine that the ergonomics of the LD 1000 2012 should change significantly, as was the case for the youngest out this year, which features new seating, a larger pool notched at its base and a new variable diameter handlebar. This new Suzuki dl1000 V-Strom 2012 should also have an adjustable windshield (with tools) and an array of shiny new accessories, to dig into the catalog of Suzuki racing! The scoreboard should also be reviewed.

Engine and chassis “up-to-date” for Suzuki DL1000 2012

Side-part cycle, the new Suzuki V-Strom 1000 2012 should remain roughly the same geometry, but given the most current equipment it should take on, we imagine that as the 650, the big Japanese road trail will lose a few pounds . Little by little, changes should certainly affect the mechanical, already preparing to move to its next emissions standards (euro4). But for now, unfortunately we have no other information about it.
As for pricing, the Suzuki DL1000 V-Strom 2012 seems to play a part again the map of the cheap alternative, given its chain drive and its equipment “standard”. On another niche so that the very luxurious and equipped with BMW 1200 GSYamaha XT1200Z and other Moto Guzzi Stelvio (or even the much awaited Honda and recasting Crosstourer “liquid” of the BMW R1200GS 2012 not to mention the Triumph Adventurer 1200) this DL1000 V-Strom 2012 (re) find she a place on this booming segment of road trails in sharp growth in Europe in recent years? Response in the coming months
